It introduces you with both theoretical and practical aspects of Library classification, for this purpose DDC-19th edition is discussed in detail. Cataloguing with AACR-2R and MARC-21 is also covered in this course. The course also provides practical training on different indexing processes.
After completing this course you will be able to do classification, cataloguing and indexing of documents.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.
