This 12 week, 4 credit course is designed for four-year degree students and other learners interested in learning Marathi. It begins with basics like Marathi script, phonetics, greetings, and daily conversations. The course progresses through grammar essentials, vocabulary building, and listening practice, then advances to reading comprehension and writing skills. Participants explore Marathi literature, practice speaking in various settings, and learn about Marathi   culture. The course concludes with a review and final assessment covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with reflection on their language learning journey and future goals.

The online registration form has to be filled, and the certification exam fee needs to be paid.


CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE


30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.


A  minimum of 40% passing marks (i.e. at-least 12 marks in Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) & 28 Marks in external proctored examination) will be required for being eligible for SWAYAM Certificate.
