Dr. Ridip Dev Choudhury

Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati


Dr. Ridip Dev Choudhury is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Computer Science at Krishna KantaHandiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati, Assam, a position he has held since November 2020. He is the Director (i/c) of the Hiranya Chandra Bhuyan School of Science and Technology and the Guru Prasad Das School of Interdisciplinary and Vocational Studies at KKHSOU. Additionally, he has been entrusted with the role of Deputy Director at the Centre for Online Education. Dr. Dev Choudhury is an active member of the Academic Council, Research Council, and several other key committees at the university.

Before joining KKHSOU, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Gauhati University Centre for Distance and Online Education (GUCDOE), Gauhati University, Assam, and as a guest faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Gauhati University.

Dr. Dev Choudhury holds both a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Gauhati University. With 19 years of professional and teaching experience, his research interests include eLearning, Expert Systems, and Image Processing. He has published extensively in reputed international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, as well as in numerous national and international conference proceedings.







Dr. Nabankur Pathak 

Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati

Dr. Nabankur Pathak is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Instrumentation at Krishna KantaHandiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati, Assam, a position he has held since [2015]. Additionally, he has been entrusted with the role of Assistant Director (i/c) at the Centre for Online Education at KKHSOU. Dr. Pathak is actively involved in the university's academic and administrative activities, contributing significantly to its mission of promoting distance and online education.

Dr. Pathak holds both a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Instrumentation from Gauhati University. With over 15 years of professional and teaching experience since 2008. He continues to actively engage in academic initiatives, making valuable contributions to the university’s interdisciplinary and technology-driven programs.


Course certificate

The course is free to access, open to learners from any academic stream, and multidisciplinary in nature. Anyone can join and learn without any cost. However, if you wish to receive a certificate, you must register and take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) after paying an examination fee.

The evaluation consists of two components: Internal Assessment (30 marks) and End Term Examination (70 marks). To pass and earn a Credit Certificate, you must score at least 40% in each component separately
