Laboratories and workshops are wonderful platform for teaching and learning of any subjects. They not only provide the opportunities to think about, discuss, and solve real problems but also it helps to develop skills and attitude of good human beings for the students.  Laboratory and workshops based teaching and learning give the opportunities  to perform hands-on practical trainings, or conducting experiments with objects, materials, phenomena, and ideas either individually or in groups by  observing and manipulating the theoretical knowledge  to develop the  understanding and appreciation.  By doing experiment or hands on practice the students can relate and reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in class by the teachers. Without it the theoretical knowledge has no meaning. In this course more emphasis are given on how to conduct the laboratory classes, what are the components of report,  how to evaluate the student’s performance and what are the safety and hazards should be taken. Some examples are given in detail.
