Leadership is the process of influencing others in the group to act in a particular way to accomplish mutual goals. Leadership has moved from being Leader centered to individualistic, hierarchical, focused on universal characteristics, and emphasizing powers to a new vision in which leadership is process controlled, collective, context bound, non-hierarchical, and focused on mutual power and influence. Leadership in cross cultural environment means understanding and motivating a culturally diverse team to come together through a shared sense of purpose, recognizing differences among stakeholders of different nations, background and ethnicities and the importance of bridging them. With globalization of academic environments cross culture education has become critically important to maintain and establish new campuses across the Globe. Transformational leadership is the approach that inspire, motivate and causes change in individuals and social systems. Worldclass Institutions are those Institutions from both public and private sectors focus both teaching and research which have made name and fame to attract global students for their multidisciplinary degree programmes through their quality & capability to provide world class education in varied areas. Strategic Planning is a future orientated process wherein an organization specifies what it wishes to become and how it proposes to get there. It is the way of using the organization’s internal resources to respond to its external environment in order to be successful. Innovations in higher education model are finding importance than ever before due to increasing number of higher education institutions and the advancement in technology adopted to cater to needs of diversity of students. Accreditation compels the Institution to meet and maintain their high standards which helps them to build the trust and confidence among the public and boosting accountability. The benchmarks prescribed in ranking, rating and accreditation establishes the credibility of the higher education institutions whilst indicating the position of an institution in the league of higher education institutions whether nationally or globally.
