This course introduces learners to the rapidly evolving world of Multimedia Technologies. It explains the fundamental concepts, hardware/software tools, and systems used to create, process, compress, store, and deliver multimedia content. Learners will gain hands-on skills in graphics, imaging, audio/video compression, animation, digital content creation, and multimedia programming.
The course blends theoretical understanding with practical exposure through weekly lab activities. By the end of the course, they will be able to design digital images, develop multimedia content, understand compression standards, and apply multimedia tools for real-world applications such as digital media production, animation, and online content delivery.
