The
rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Open Source
technologies is transforming the global education landscape. In alignment
with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020,
educators are expected to embrace digital innovation, foster personalized
learning, and create inclusive teaching–learning environments. To meet these
emerging demands, this MOOC on “Artificial Intelligence and Open
Source Tools for Teaching–Learning Excellence” has been designed to
equip faculty, teachers, and education professionals with the knowledge,
skills, and hands-on experience required for AI-enabled pedagogy. By combining conceptual understanding with practical applications, the course empowers educators to design innovative, learner-centric pedagogies, adopt cost-effective solutions, and enhance institutional academic practices. By the end of this MOOC, participants will be able to design, develop, and implement AI-enabled teaching resources using open source tools, thereby enhancing the quality of education and contributing to the creation of future-ready classrooms. This programme will serve as a capacity-building platform for educators, empowering them to leverage AI and open source tools to achieve teaching–learning excellence in higher education and beyond. |
