Examination Dates

Dear All,


The Examination dates has been scheduled on 4th and 5th February 2022. The Exam Registration form will be opened shortly and the link will be made available on SWAYAM home page.


Kindly note that the best 5 assessment/assignment marks will be considered for internal marks and will carry 30 percent of overall result. Those who obtain 40% marks in Internal Assessment and 40% marks in End-Term Proctored Exam separately, will be eligible for certificate an credit transfer.


End-Term Proctored Exam will have 100 questions (objective type) and will carry 70 percent of overall result.

Dear Learners,

Greetings!

Welcome to the SWAYAM Course on Proficiency Course in French. 

Here are some general instructions about the course. 

Kindly note.

This is a 5-credits course with 12 weeks duration.
The course commences on 02-08-2021 and ends on 31-10-2021. The registrations for the course will close on 31-08-2021.
The contents of the course week would be available to you every Monday, and can be accessed from the Course Outline on the Course Page. Every lesson consists of objectives, summary, video lecture, academic script, glossary, references and Ungraded Self-Assessments for your learning.

Every week has a Graded Internal Assessment (Quiz), based on that week’s contents, which would be available for your attempt at the end of each week. You can attempt the Weekly Quiz only ONCE.
Each Quiz would consist of 10 objective-type multiple-choice questions, for 10 marks. These marks are carry forwarded on pro-rata basis for your final evaluation.
The evaluation pattern for the course is 30 Marks for all Internal Assessments (Quiz) and 70 Marks for the final end-term External Proctored Examination.
It is mandatory to obtain at least 40% marks in in-course assessment (Quiz) and the end term proctored exam conducted by NTA centers to pass the course.
All learners, who obtain 40% marks in Quiz and 40% marks in final end-term proctored exam separately, will be eligible for certificate and credit transfer.
The final end-term examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) with MCQs.

All learners would be intimated about the registration for the End-Term Examination details by e-mail in due course.
We would be glad to receive any comments, feedback, as well as any queries regarding the course on the discussion forum. We will be glad if anyone of you is interested in having typical discussion forums for some subtopics of the domain and moderate the same. As long as possible, We will respond back to your queries at the earliest. We will be happy if you confine your queries to the course and the topic.
